Just a quick question regarding the calorie deficit.
My BMR is 2814.2, and with my current exercise routine, I figure I can consume approximately 4362.1 calories a day in order to maintain weight. Using a deficit of -500, I plan to consume approximately 3862.1 calories a day.
Now, am I correct in saying that I can choose which way I wish to cover this deficit? I'm assuming that I can work with variations of the following 2 scenario's...
1. Consume 4362.1 calories, and burn off an additional 500 calories in addition to the current exercise routine.
2. Consume 3862.1 calories, and only burn off the calories in my usual exercise routine.
As I read that back, it doesn't seem right...am I on the right track? Or am I missing something?
