I bought the toast last week (on the say so of the neighbour's miss 15) - it's alright but I prefer the crumpet. Mind you I think a crumpet has to be dripping in butter and honey, and subsequently don't have them that much since they're just not as good with just a little honey on them.

I did buy myself the wholemeal ones once (and the bloke the normal ones) - he threw the wholemeal ones out thinking they were old normal ones that had gone bad!!

had my crumpet toast this morning, i actually found it to be quite filling! i had mine with a teaspoon of honey. i like the smooth bottoms on the normal crumpets but with the crumpet toast you get a WHOLE loaf of it so its good if you want to freeze it or if your family is ravenous for things like this like my family. - heidi has had 4 slices of it since yesterday!

I was disappointed in the crumpet toast. Mine didn't have any holes at all and tasted nothing like crumpets! I wouldn't buy it again...soooooo expensive too.

I love wholemeal crumpts with vegemite! YUM!

That is calling for trouble. I wouldn't be able to stop at two  Yummy crumpets, they taste delish with strawberry jam :)

I had no idea they had wholemeal ones.

Has anyone tried rice bread? I bought a small loaf for $9  . You can’t toast it cos its gluten free and wheat free so it crumbles. Have to eat it with a knife and fork. I’ve found that it helps because 1) it takes longer to eat 2) your consciously eating it and knowing how much of it your eating and 3) I found it more filling than normal bread.

Hey Kate

I tried the crumpet toast recently - it was quite nice but I prefer normal crumpets I think. I've been buying the wholemeal ones too - they are sooo nice! Crumpets are a fab low kilojoule snack!

Enjoy your toast :)

Think I will stick with the wholemeal crumpets for now....until our champion Kate turns them onto the wholemeal deal with the toast. :D Go get 'em tiger!

I don't have them too often as they just need something gooey like loads of golden syrup or even better chocolate ice-cream....consequently they're not in the house much. :P
