Can I include mineral water in my daily water tally?

Postby milkyway » Tue Jul 24, 2007 1:50 pm

Do you think it's OK to include sparkling mineral water (unflavoured, just the plain stuff) in my daily water intake tally? Or should that just be pure, plain water?

HEy Sandra....just checked calorie king and it says there are a grand total of....wait for it......0 Calories!! The only thing to be aware of is the sodium content (20mg per 200ml) as it could cause a bit of fluid retention...other than that...drink away and be bubbley!!

I remember this thread from quite a while ago, talking about diet cordial and if that can be counted. I'm not sure if the same would apply to mineral or soda water, as the acidity may be different from pure water :?
