Okay I was feeling just a tad depressed this morning when I measured myself, my hips haven't changed for weeks.

Do they change last?
I cracked the 90kg mark for the first time in two years, I'm happy!!

I don't know, but i reckon they change the slowest... :?

I reckon they’re the slowest as well. I spoke to a trainer about this (whether any areas reduce faster than others) and he reckoned for the most part you lose the same all over but that it’s different for everyone – and if you have more to lose in one particular area it obviously seems slower.

My personal theory (based on random sassi thoughts, no facts) is that the hips are hard to reduce sometimes because they’re hard to tone. For example, you can do all sorts of exercises to tone your legs, arms, butt & across your back - that way the weight bearing exercise adds to any cardio so you get fat loss & muscle tone but this doesn’t seem to hold true for your hips. Well, I haven’t found any exercises. If there is one (or more) someone please tell me pronto!

Maybe dont just just focus on your hips , has your tummy, chest or other areas shrunk? dont be depressed!!

Yeah I agree....hips are last! I can lose a heap of cms off my waist and none off my hips. Eventually it all evens out though....I think that's what the trainer meant.

Meanwhile how do I know I've lost weight over the last week without measuring......the one place I don't need to lose it!! My cup size! :cry: :cry:

Yeah my chest measurement have gone down and think my belly has shrunk by half a cm since last week. That's great but I'd really like buy a new skirt or pair of nice pants. So far with my weight loss, about 8.5kg, I've bought three new tops.

It seems to make sense to me but I hate admitting that its the hardest, it means all my cargo pants and skirt shopping had to be at the end of my weight loss sheesh.

It's appernately how you family jene you have no choice on how weight comes off & what area you hold weight. It will comes off in different portion's at different times. So the personal trainer has told me.

it seems to be hard for me to lose weight from my waist. pants are looser around the legs really quickly but then around the waist its taking its time :roll:

I always lose weight of my hips first, then my butt then my legs. I find it really difficult to lose weight of my bust and is always the first place I gain the weight :evil:

GW1 - 70kgs
GW2 - 67kgs
GW3 - 60kgs
