LOVE my pedometer; it showed me that a few hours round the shops = 10,000 steps!

I bought an Oregon Scientific one from Overstock Outlet for $19.95 + post and it has an FM radio built in. Very reliable and very fun!

My wife and i just got one. I have had one before and found it very inaccurate. I work in a department store and find i walk quite fast with large steps. When i walk like this it counts like 3 or 4 steps for each one. Which is great for my average but just a tad misleading. As for how many steps you should be getting on a daily basis ive read in a few places that 10000 is a good target.

Where do you guys wear yours? The instructions with mine said 15cm from your belly button but i think on your hip would be better place as it wouldn't get such a jolt from each step.
