Losing Motivation

Postby cometcupid » Tue Aug 28, 2007 12:59 am

Hi All,

I'm El, and I've been losing weight with Sureslim since April.
Love the people, and so far I have lost 20kg.
However, I'm at my half-way point and over the last month have been completely slack and fluctuated with my weight by about 3 kg over the month and been struggling to stay motivated.

Is it common to feel this way at the half way point?
Any tips on staying motivated?

Thanks all.
E

Well look how well you have done, motivation is always hard it doesn't matter how much you have to lose, but its all in the mind you have to set yourself to do it, its rewarding myself that helps me and the smile that crosses my face when the scales move down its priceless
good luck and keep at it, join in with the forum you will get lots of support

Hi El,

You should be really proud of how far you have come. Anything worth doing is really hard, otherwise there would be no satisfaction in doing it at all...so...don't be so hard on yourself.
Try and remember why you wanted to do this in the first place!!

best of luck

You're really lucky to have lost 20kg since April. I have barely lost 5 kilos in the two months I have been on Sureslim (that and I really don't like my consultant). This diet is definitely for you so keep on doing it! You'd be crazy to stop now.
Start Weight (from beginning): 71
Current Weight: 63.00
Weight lost so far: 8.00
Goal Weight: 55.00

8 kilos left.

Kate - that's what I'm afraid of - every time I get to this point in a diet I kinda give up!

Zero - Yeah, I am finding the diet a little boring. What does yours entail? I've been blessed with a great group of girls at my centre... can you go to a different centre?

Maraver and Princess - thank you. I am glad to have stumbled across these forums and hope everyone is as lovely as you all seem to be!

I go to the Sydney City clinic. I havent really checked if there are any others close to me.

As for the diet being boring, i totally understand, thats why, as of a few days ago, ive decided to shake things up a bit so I dont become really bored and just stuff up the diet entirely.

I basically have one day where I still eat healthy, but am a little lenient as to WHAT i eat
