I've never even heard of it before. Maybe I've been living under a rock!

Ok... I googled it! It's 40 calories... But you can get the sugar-free version. It doesn't sound too bad at all... But the calories really would add up if you were relying on it.

Have you tried water with ice and a slice of lemon/lime? I enjoy that!

My tip is to drink a glass of water before every meal. That way you don't eat too much (because you feel full from the water) and you've got your water out of the way.

Whatever works for you, though! Best of luck!

i agree with lauren - it would be alright for a couple of glasses (preferably the sugar free version) but if you used it for every glass of water & you were drinking the 2l a day it'd really kill your calories. and they're pretty much empty calories because you're not getting nutritional benefit as such and you're not satisying hunger either.

i'm not much help because i really enjoy plain old water!

you'd maybe be better using diet cordial? i hhad a quick squiz at calorieking and it looks like only 4 cals per diluted serving...

Tang is a powder orange concetrate. Not like gatorade, but has its own unique flavor. It is popular in Canada/USA (where I grew up) and used like a cordial.

I've never heard of the Dr Red or Elixer's before, but Ill have a look next time I do the grocery shopping, because some kind of replacement would be ideal.
