I reached a goal

Postby Tas » Thu Jan 26, 2006 3:44 pm

Ok, Ok, OK, I am still here and watching ya
The good news is I actually have reached my 10 kilo weight loss goal - now my next goal is 72 kilo's - 3 to go! Once I reach that goal it will be 70 and then the hard work of maintaining it comes in to play!
I have had very little time to work out on my exercise equipment as we have fostered to young maremma sheepdog pups that were left to roam the hills of north Tas - it took 2 weeks to catch them and they are just beeeeautiful!
So we have them here and we had to build a large outdoor pen for them as I all ready have 3 of them!! But I could not see them being put to sleep with out giving them a chance. So for now I am getting all the exercise I need with fence and shelter building! Not to mention all the running around that goed with being a foster-carer for two young pups
It must be a form of insanity :D
But the good news the goal I set myself at the very beginning of this weight loss (lifestyle change) has been reached!
I burnt my arm quite badly last week end and had to go to the doctors with it...the nurse there asked me if I had lost weight because I looked really well - that my dear friends made it all worth while 8)
BTW remember those snazzy size 14 shorts I purshased a few months ago - well they fell down while I was working on the shelter <hahahahahahahahahha> oh and I were laughing so bad we were nearly dehydrated in 37C heat LOL - size 12 coming up....
Let's keep it coming off....
Cheers
Maria the mad woman from down south!

Congratulations, that is fantastic news. I hope you gave yourself a nice reward - sounds like it will be a new pr of shorts if you didn't.

Sorry to hear about your arm but how fantastic for you for someone to notice your weightloss - I agree the feeling you get from that makes your goal all the more worthwhile.

Good luck in reaching your next goal,
Angel

I reckon for my height a size 16 would be ok. Size 14 would be a bonus though. :)
