Yay! I bought me a fit ball.

Postby Bel Diamante » Wed Nov 07, 2007 1:28 pm

Hi guys,

I bought me a fit ball today from the physio..... YAY! Well he actually recommended it because of a serious knee injury, but YAY!

I used to do alot of exercises with the fit ball at the gym i used to go to and found that it is a really great way of targeting certain muscle groups.

I've also been doing walking on my mother in laws treadmill twice a day.

Slowly but surely I'll build back up to going back to the gym, but I've got to get my knee better first. At least I'm doing something, which is great.

Looking forward to losing weight basically, and I am really excited about my new purchase.... just wanted to share LOL :P

Cheers,
Nicky :D

At 133kg, I'm really hoping mine won't pop. My physio has pretty much garanteed it won't pop, and for $70 for the ball I bloody hope it never does pop LOL.
They're just so versatile, you can do so much with them.

I just read this for the first time. I have a ball I'm not really game to do much with because I'm always a bit worried it will pop. I just thought it was me being stupid, never occurred to me others were worried about the same thing. I feel reassured - thanks. I'm sitting on my ball right now. hehe

I love my fitball! Not only is it great for exercising, but it's wonderful just to sit on while watching the telly. It's done wonders for my back!
