I went to the gym 3 times last week and am hoping to go 5 times this week (not all weights sessions obviously). I have been this morning and as an extra bonus I walked to the gym since we had nice blue skies for a change! Pity it wasn't warmer though. Only 4 degrees when I left. Anyway, I don't feel like I've lost any weight yet but I feel a lot fitter and the stairs at the gym don't seem quite so steep. Have been struggling with food though. Have been getting extra hungry because of gym and if I don't eat something straight away my blood sugars start to drop and then I'll just eat anything, regardless of how bad it is for me. Plus Darren was off work sick last week and we got on each others nerves a bit so I may have consumed a bit too much alcohol. Never mind, one thing at a time. Hopefully going to the gym will become a habit soon and I can then turn my focus to getting my diet under control.
