Headaches and exercise

If you have a headache, that is like your whole head - unsure if its a migraine - should you still work out? will that make it worse or better? i have been drinking water all day and then the headache started :(

I wouldnt do any strenuous exercise (that gets your heart rate up), a simple walk or toning exercises would be OK.

I work out even when im feeling like crap, and it makes me feel worse.
Starting Weight: 62kg Current Weight: 55.0kg Goal Weight: 54kg

Goal Reached 22 February 2008, Must get down to 54kg again!

I sometimes find that excercise helps with a headache, I guess cos it opens up the blood vessels and gets things flowing around. I guess though it depends how bad it is and if you feel up to it or not. If you go to the gym, and it gets worse, you can always go home. Maybe don't go out running or anything like that, in case it gets bad and you can't get back!

i actually think i have a neck problem....and that is causing my headaches and dizziness :(

That could be it, make sure you get to your GP!

yeah dont take a chance and try and see one soon, i wouldnt work out if i had a headache just incase i made it worst but if u feel up to it do something at home and if u think it is ur neck- stay away from weights. Goodluck and hope its nothing to bad.
