It is probably nothing, but with anything like that I would suggest not taking advice from a forum board, or even someone at the gym. Go and see your Doctor. It could be a symptom of something much more serious.

OMG. This happens for me as well! They also burn... when on the bicycle. Numb then burning. I have to stop sometimes to make the pain go then start again. I dont get it doing anyhting other than the bike!

Yeah I get numb feet sometimes when I'm on the bike, cross trainer, summit climber. It's weird! Might be the angle that your feet are at, all the blood rushing to and away from them? I dunno!

I sometimes get numb toes when running - it's from my shoes or socks. Not happening so much now I've worn the runners in.
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...

Being that Im a decent size girl I have had the same problem. Its due to blood not being able to pump around the body as fast as we might like during exercise. Best advise is see the doc and get him to check your circulation especially dvt!

Thanks everyone.. i only noticed it again when i increased the time. Its more annoying than anything. wiggling the tootsies helps a bit, and it goes soon as i finish. anyway will see how it goes.

thanks Mish, should have thought it might be something as 'simple' and 'easy' as losing weight lol

Probably a little silly - but Doc was only looking at my situation. Sorry if my post was misleading, just wanted to share my experience - didn't mean for it to sound like I meant it as a solution for everybody.
