Exercise DVDs

Postby ali76 » Tue Feb 12, 2008 12:11 pm

Hi all :P

I'm thinking of investing in some exercise DVDs so I can do more at home and wondered if anyone had any favourites that they'd recommend?

I enjoy doing Step classes at the gym - I can find the actual steps to buy, but no DVDs!?

Also used to enjoy Tae Bo and thought about Billy Blancs but thought his work outs might kill me!!!

Thanks!!

Have you checked on Ebay? I got a step DVD there very cheap. Carmen Electra's Fit to Strip DVDs are quite fun as well and can be found cheap at JB Hi-Fi. And they have practical applications as well as being a good work-out.

Walk away the pounds is excellent!!! I got a few dancing ones, some kickboxing, pilates and yoga. I prefer stuff that is fun and gets me going, rather than someone screaming down the tv at me...I was going to get Gillian from TBL but was scared of her srcreaming at me every day...does anyone actually have her dvd's?

Haha! I can imagine a Gillian interactive workout DVD where you get to select your level of abuse from the options menu before starting.

Hey If you like Tae Bo try Billys Bootcamp its awesome and you can buy it in a pack of three dvds *basic training* Ultimate Bootcamp* and *Ab Bootcamp*
it comes with resistance bands which I personally hate using but they do make the work out loads harder, but you don't have to use them. Also comes with
a meal plan and exercise plan. You can buy it from Big W :)

Have you ever tried Extreme Tae Bo???

I get bored often so I try to mix my dvd's.

Jordan's workout - acceptable

Jane Fonda - Complete Personal Trainer Series - quick results in minimum of time. Not feeling any pain, actually I feel super after this workout

Joanna Hall - Drop a size for life - fun

I recently discover an old workout of jane fonda (1985 I think), and I was very happy cause' I was doing it when I had 17 yrs :D . Cool . Work my ass harder then other workouts...
Not a very good english speaker, but I am tryin'
