I bought a gym... sorta

Postby Nekko » Sun Mar 02, 2008 4:14 am

I went shopping and bought a lot of exercise things. I have my own little gym in my bedroom! lol Note: I got it all at Wal-Mart a store in the US. Links next to their names are to show you what I got!

A body ball http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product. ... id=4346670

A premium resistant tube kit http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product. ... id=4329710

A yoga/pilates mat http://www.bigfitness.com/dadefimat1.html

Stretch bands http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product. ... id=7386414

2 lb weighted balls http://www.fogdog.com/fog-danskin-2lb-t ... 25338.html

Dancing with the stars: Cardio Dance DVD http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product. ... id=5691611

Drop it with Dance DVD

10 minutes solutions: Rapid results Pilates http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product. ... id=5051592

10 minutes solutions: Dance it off and tone it up http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product. ... id=8001947

10 minutes solutions: Fitness ball workouts http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product. ... id=5051585

Dance off the inches: Hip hop party http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product. ... id=8001856

I can hardly do some of the dances... I have no coordination, but it keeps me moving at least and I will get the hang of it eventually.

This is all great stuff. I rec it all for anyone trying to lose weight. The body ball I got though said max weight is 300 pounds. I'm 303, but that seems to be okay! @_@ lol I'm not sure if you can get balls for higher weights. BUT a body ball is so great to look into when you can use one! *nods nods nods*

Oops forgot to say I got a jump rope. Haha

I seem to be exercising a lot more now that I have actual things to help me out and they are fun to do. I love rolling around on the body ball. You'd think it wouldn't do much, but when I do that, I can totally feel it working.

Hi Nekko
Wow, you are obviously motivated for a good start. Looking forward to seeing how you go once you've set up your gym.

Walmart is HUGE!! There are normal Walmarts and then Super Walmarts. They are open every day 24 hours a day except Christmas day.

Walmart is like a huge K-Mart and the sell everything! SuperWalmart is also a supermarket so it has 1 side a department store, the other side a supermarket.

Everything there is hell cheap too!

I have a friend who imports different product lines from China. He supplies candles and soaps to Big W, Target, K-mart, The Warehouse and a few other places in Australia and New Zealand. He was asked to put together a sample order for Walmart. The sample order was more than the collective annual orders for all his antipodean customers combined. They are HUGE.
