I just ran...

Postby HappyBella55 » Sat Mar 15, 2008 10:39 am

24ks *jumps up and down* like a lunatic lol :D.

I just wanted to share my excitement with you all :D. I am so pumped but also my muscles are sore

It is 12ks from the boys place to the city. We took off at 5am and it took us an hour and 10 minutes to run in. The boy was so sweet he actually slowed/changed his stride to keep pace with me. We got into town, had a 15 minute break and then ran back.

After this great effort I'm going to spend the rest of the day lazing around and being a bum :P . The boy is crazy  - he's gone to the gym to pump some iron 8)

Hats off to you Bella. After the Burnie 10, I know that I am capable of running and will do if I have to, but it's just not for me. I think I'm just not built for it. Now cycling on the other hand... LOL. Let's just say I am to cycling what you are to running. Mind you, it's nice to know I wasn't THAT far behind you, I did 10km (with 1 BIG hill) in 1hr 10 ish minutes (from memory, may have been 1:15), you would only have been 2km in front of me. Actually when I think of it like that... Damn girl.
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

"You can't change the winds, but you can change the sails"

"Reach out and take control of what lands in your lap"
