how to work a pedometer

Postby Purpledog21 » Mon Apr 28, 2008 8:56 pm

ive just found my pedometer and i was wondering how you set the step section right as the other day i wore it and i did 7000 steps and 4.2kms when i know the distance i walked is about 3.5kms so im thinking i set it up wrong.
Can anyone tell me how to work it out?

thanks

Does it have adjustment buttons? Mine has little plus and minus buttons. The instruction manual said to walk for fifty steps, counting the steps yourself then check the pedometer. If it was incorrect then you need to adjust the sensitivity, either up or down.

Does your pedometer have an instruction manual with similar directions? What brand is it?
