time of day you excerise ???

whats your excerise routine? and what time of day do you do it ??? i am so bad getting out of bed in the morning so am interested to see when everyone else does it

I walk to work in the mornings, I usually do my c25k training at lunch time or early arvo 3 times a week & strength training in the evening 2 times per week.

I just try to mix it up a bit or just fit it in when I can. I try to do at least an hour per day, preferably 1.5-2hrs but time sometimes doesn't permit.

If its my walking day, I go between 5pm and 6pm for an hour. On the days I dont walk, I ride 14klms on my exercise bike about 8pm after the kids have gone to bed.

On weekdays it would be 5:30am - 7:30am, and sometimes after work as well 5:30pm - 7pm. Weekends normally ends up being 4pm - 6pm :)

Riding in the mornings and afternoon, just depends on my college timetable. Then walk every night from 7pm onwards.

Thanks guys for your reply's/ I have decided to start exceirsing after work when finaish early or on my lunch breaks when i am on lates.... i get a afternoon tea break so i can have my lunch then

I tend to go for walks with teh kids in the morning but its toddler pace and then late arvo when R. gets home from work i go for a jog /walk on my own with the mp3 player :D I am aslo not a mornign person, though i should be i have a 11 month old who wakes at exactly 5 am every morning :lol:

In the mornings, I wake up before six. Sometimes I will walk the dog at night if I dont run with him in the morning.

If I'm doing weights I usually do that in the arvo.

I try and vary it, today i gave pilates a go for the first time for 40 mins (didn't like it) then did exercise bike for 15mins as fast as i can go (got up to 40kms) and did a few weights for 5 mins.
Usually i just use my exercise bike for an hour.
I wake up and exercise starting at 6.30am. I find mornings work for me cos i have more energy for the rest of the day, have a mood boost and i'm less likely to eat that biscuit at 4.00pm when i think about the hard work i did.
I also have a fairly physical job where i do 20hrs a week.

I ride either early morning or late afternoon. Walk religiously from about 6-6:30pm and get home at 8-8:30pm.

First thing in the morning for running/riding, then I usually do weights on my lunch break.

weekdays:
6:30am - walk dog, 30-5min
7:20am at latest - on my bike and ride to uni/work (1hr/30min)
4:30/5:00pm - ride home, same as to work
6:00 ish - walk dog (unless the bloke wants to) 45min-1hr

weekends - bludge, occasionally ride into the market on Satuday and walk dog usually for longer than in weekends (say 2-3hrs), and gardening if the weather is nice and I have something that needs doing (that I know of... I'm not yet a very competent gardener :oops: )
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).

Bootcamp - Mon, Wed & Fri from 6-7.15! :shock:

Also trying to get into gym in the mornings when I start at 12 (Tues & Thurs) and netball training on Tues and games on Sat (this is to come though!).
SW - 75.9
CW - 68
Happy weight - 68 (I MADE IT!!!)
GW - 65 (for now - and until I conceive!)

I was never a morning person, but I married one :roll: and I forced myself to exercise in the morning to share our days as much as possible and it's painless now. Also means the exercise is done, ticked off, completed and not missed as it often was when I put it off till after work.

Sat-Thurs alternate

brisk walking (6kph) with nasty steep steps involvement (189 steps but who's counting)
and
full body weight training workout

Both cardio and weights 50-60 minute sessions
Fri - rest day
