The Wii remote only has a very small memory which is designed to be able to save you Mii too but not much else.

You could save it to a memory card though.

Have any of you noticed a variation in your weight between the wii fit and your normal scales??

I jumped on mine this morning...

Wii Fit - 97.8
Home scales - 99.8

and I'm about to head to the gym for my monthly weigh in there, so no doubt, that will differ too... So frustrating - which ones do you go by????

All scales will differ, just pick one and use that to weigh in all the time. Don't use different ones as you will not get true results.

Ok so im home and im now 76 kg's, so down 1kg but definitely not 2.5....Either the wii fit balance board is wrong or the extremely high tech looking ones at the gym are...

Like I said, all scales are different. Especially if they are different types, brand etc. It's impossible for them all to weigh the same.

So pick one to go by and only weigh yourself on that one.

I used to go to WW and they use the exact same brand of scales yet they varied as well. My leader had 2 sets at a meeting once and they were about 1kg different.

Scales usually have to be calibrated every once in a while so they stay accurate. Ones at gyms get a lot of use and abuse most likely. If your Wii Fit is new then I would go by that one. You have no idea what happens to the ones at the gym and if they are serviced regularly or if anyone has played with the settings etc.

Often, yeah. the advanced stepping is 5 minutes a pop, and would do 2 or 3 of them with dumbells, then some advanced boxing which is good for another 13 minutes a pop. then a 30minute free step with dumbells as often as i can. Not a fan of the yoga or balance games... the wiifit gets me moving and thats what i love about it

Wow I had no idea! I thought once in a while one could obviously broken but never thought about the fact that they are not calibrated regularly. Well thats good news then, I will go by the gym one for weight loss because I used that one when I started, but I think I may just be a couple kg's less than the gym one because yeah the wii fit is brand new. :)

The wiifit needs to be on a hard floor to give you both accurate AND consistant measurements. On carpet they are still 100% consistant, but accuracy may suffer a little
