No worries Ally. I appreciate where the admin are coming from and want to respect that. When I settle into my new abode, I will get in touch with them in respect to this.

i was just about to post a thread about exercise dvds but luckily found this thread first!

the WATP dvds sound great. i had a quick look on ebay and at the official site - i noticed that on the official site they have a piece of equipment that they use for the workouts. does anyone who uses these not have one of the exercise thingys (their technical term  )?

i'm fairly unfit at the moment but still play the odd game of hockey etc, so i'm wondering if the one mile dvd would be suitable for me?

hey sassi i dont use the stretchy band that you are suppose to use in the 1 and two mile walks. my dvd didnt come with one and i cant afford to fork out for one. i just did other exercises whilst they used the stretchy band in the show and sometimes i use a pair of nylon panty hose instead.

Heya Sassi. I bought off ebay a boxed disc set WALK AWAY THE POUNDS 4 ABS, 1 mile, 2 mile and 3 mile...they are all on the same dvd and It came with the resistant bands/belt.

If you buy the dvds individually they do not come with the walkaway belt. However just doing the dvds without the bands is a good workout. However with the bands it is really good. Add's that extra resistance to tone the waist and arms/shoulders.

I looked ages ago on the official website and I dont think you can get products sent to Aus, I may be wrong though. Even so I wouldnt reccomend it, too expensive, stick to ebay lol!!!

The 1 mile goes for 15 mins. 2 mile 30 mins. 3 mile 45 mins.

Just looked it up on ebay then, and there are places in USA selling the box set. I got mine for under $50. If you dont want/dont have that sort of money to spend then just buy the dvds on there own. I just liked the way it all came in the one set. Hope that helps!!! :D

I have the Cardio Salsa one and Fat Burning Dance Party.

OMG - sooo unco  I am glad I'm doing them in the privacy of my own home and not at the gym because I'm hopeless at picking up the steps :P

They're OK - move a bit fast for me, but I guess once you get the hang of it, it'll be OK.
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...

I use the 1 mile, 2 mile and 3 mile (1 and 2 mile on same dvd and 3 mile by itself) and no mention of the resistance band... Just the weighted balls.

I'm not sure of the year that the dvd's were released so maybe they are just the earlier version.

There is some other Walk away the Pounds dvd that I am supposed to be getting from mum that has boxing or something in it :? not sure of the name of that one.

What do people think about pilates?
