yeah, some people just can't quite grasp the fact that OTHER people being successful is a GOOD thing too. She may have been well intentioned in her mind.
I actually do think I have a problem - I cannot see the resuts I have obtained. To me, naked, I look exactly the same as I did 35kg's ago. Now I KNOW this cannot be true as all the clothes from then fall off if i tried to put them on and I have dropped so many dress sizes, but my eyes just can't see it.
I fix that by relying on my partner and my scales to keep an independent check on things. The scales can't 'lie' (but they can decieve re muscle weight) and I trust the bloke. You have to pick the people you trust to give you accurate feedback. When I get to goal i intend going to Dr to check if I am ok or need to lose more.
in the mean time I am cycling 80-100 minutes per day and eating well (i.e no excessive bikkie snacking). i have had my mum tell me that i don't look as happy now I've lost weight which i think may have been due to a touch of the green eyed monster. I'm guessing your work colleage would say i had a problem too, but then I wouldn't take much notice because they don't fall into my weight loss check plan (scales, bloke, Dr).
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!
"You can't change the winds, but you can change the sails"
"Reach out and take control of what lands in your lap"
