Walking away the pounds

Postby Bel » Mon Oct 30, 2006 4:19 pm

Never before that I heard of a walking inside DVD but when i joined this forum it's all I saw people talking about. So I bought one off of ebay!!!

I haven't used it yet but I did have a look at it and it looks interesting. But in the work out the lady has a strechy piece of material that she use's.

I was wondering if anyone actually knows what this is and where I could get one from.

Cheers bel

Hi Bel
me thinks they are called resistence bands and can generally be bought at most sports stores . They vary in price but boy they sure do work

HI bel

theyre called stretchy bands, she doesnt use them for long in the dvd. i usually just walk on the spot when she uses them or incorporate other steps into that section. its jsut for the upper arm exercises.

you can get them from sports stores or check ebay!!!

I priced them in A-mart Allsports Bel and they were $38.00. 3-way resistance band is what they are called. I am waiting for my 2 to arrive...any day now hopefully!

Hey Bel, I was talking to Miss Perky the other day and they buy resistance bands on a roll and just cut off what they need. If you talk nicely to her she might be able to swangle some your way :D She lovesssss you cos you keep dobbing on me lol

I love the walk away the pounds dvd. Although I can't stand Leslie, so I usually mute it while I have my favourite songs playing. In the ones I do (the Two and Three mile) she doesn't use the band, instead she uses weights....Which can be substituted for a can of bake beans..works just as well!

haha that made me laugh neney (about how you cant stand leslie) i hate the way she says her name on the dvds lol. and her side kicks- sisters and sweat- especially mary kay lol.

sometimes if i need someone to encourage me i find her motivating but i usually put my own music on too :)
