Recently I've been doing a water aerobics class and have noticed that my arms and upper body is stronger than usual but my legs and particularly my ankles are so week as to cramp up. At points it gets so bad I have to stop just so that I dont drown.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to make ankles stronger? Even just a little bit would help because then I can slowly build up my leg muscles.
Do lunges / sumo squats help at all? At the momment I need something that I can do at home each night (yes, they are THAT weak) until I can get my gym membership where I'll move onto the leg press.
