Just thought I would share something that has been important in motivating me to exercise after work and also just getting things done in general. I often come home feeling 'exhausted' and tired and don't want to go to the gym or clean the house or anything physical. I realised recently that I am always mentally exhausted or my eyes feel tired but my body itself is not tired at all. This is a result of studying full time, driving to work, and working in office environments and sometimes just from boredom.
So now when I think 'I'm to tired to clean the house, cook tea, go to the gym' etc. I stop and think: hang on, is it my mind, my eyes or my body that is tired? 9 times out of 10 it isn't my body and it makes me feel energised and capable of doing what needs doing.
