could it be lack of water? I know I get headaches if I dont drink enough water, not when I am exercising but anytime.

Or do you have neck, shoulder or back issues - these can be aggrevated by exercise and you could experience referred pain?

Weigh yourself before and after you exercise. Your weight should be the same after as before because you should drink that much water.

Say you weighed 79kg before you started exercising, then you weighed in at 78.5kg AFTER exercising, you need to drink about another 500ml of water because you lost 500grams during your workout!

Water or maybe low sugar? Maybe its just me but i get horrible headaches when my sugar is low - maybe some diet cordial or a couple of jelly beans (only a couple) may be of some help?

Im a newbie so take others advice before you take mine ;)

Hi hun,

Ive had a bit of experience with fitness training and ive noticed that people who haven't done any fitness training in a long time, tend to get headaches easier. It can be put down to a number of things:

dehydration (drink more!)
heat intensity (and hence fluid buildup)
Lack of energy (you need to eat something before you exercise)
Lack of physical fitness (your body is just getting used to the level of training you are doing, if you persist, the headaches will dissapear)
Physcological Barriers (ie, torn heart strings!)

Good luck in finding the source of your headaches!
