Don't despair! I found a 130 kg one on Ebay mid last year for $400.
It was 'as new' owned by a sexy thin blonde woman that never bothered to use it.

I've used a few times since I was over 130, and haven't broken it. If you are just doing flat walking for 10-20 minutes a day you could probably add an extra 10kg to that. I think they rate them at maximum workout... running for example. That would come later.

I feel so lazy reading all this 'exercise talk' as I haven't done any besides walk the dog since I started this diet.

At my max weight I had so much fluid retention in my feet I could hardly walk! It does seem to be getting better though as I lose weight, so I hope to be able to use it again after another 5-10 kilos.

I intend to get back on mine as soon as the weather cools down a bit. It's been close to 40 degrees day after day after day here! The dog doesn't even want to move!

I had to stay in the cranky corner for a bit  - while I vented about Biggest Loser being on at the same time as Ugly Betty, and idiot mothers force feeding their kids rubbish then wondering why they're kids are becoming fat... but I'm ready to play nicely now. hehehehe

Yeah ebay is the go with these, I purchased one for around $700 brad new with 3 year warranty. The max on mine was only 120 or something but there were plenty there with 150kg max going for just under $1000, most come with good warranties too, only problem is how close you are to the ebay dealer and they delivery cost...

thanks for that Donk, but I refuse to pay big bucks for 150kg just on principal alone!! I look at it that I will just have to get my but into gear and get down to a 'suitable' weight for one!! Geez you picked up a bargain though Donk!!
