Muscle tone

Quick question. I've read that you should do toning exercise every 2 to 3 days so that your muscles have time to grow and recharge. Would doing crunches, squats and lunges etc every day be doing more harm than good? Should I just stick to every other day?

Hiya

If you are using weights eg dumbells/barbells or weights machines, you need to allow those rest days. If it's just body weight squats, lunges etc etc than you're fine to do it as often as you like :)

Just try and allow yourself a rest day each week, because it's not only your muscles that need a chance to repair and grow, it's your nervous system that needs a break too!
