Bras

Postby cindye76 » Wed Mar 07, 2007 8:13 am

Hey everyone....last night I wanted to go for a walk/jog..but I am so sick of my boobs nearly knocking me out...so I talked to my sister who also has the same problem, but she is very fit and jogs all the time....she suggested wearing 2 sports bras!!!!! And guess what. It was awesome....I am an 18E and I could jog with almost no movement from my boobs.......A lot more comfy than duct tape too.... :D

How ingenious!

I'm sure others have this exact problem - I find even doing the WATP DVD "Walk and Jog" my boobs are just bouncing all over the place. The last thing I want is to lose all this weight and have my boobs sagging to my toes as a result of poor support. I don't suppose anyone knows of anywhere in Vic that I can get sports bras in size 22E? I find it hard enough to find any bra and looking for one that's gonna really hold me firm is something of a nightmare.

I am only a B now but I still wear two coz after being so big (DD) they started to head south when I lost weight. I wear a normal sports bra (usually berlei are good) plus a sports crop top over the bra. I find this eliminates the bouncing. A couple of times I was horrified  to see a woman in NO bra doing a body attack class (which involves a lot of jumping). I'm surprised she didnt knock someone else over!! Man, that would've been uncomfortable :?

I like Berlei bras too. The 'Barely There' ones are great regular bras (only 29.95 when on special at somewhere like Harris Scarfe) and the their sports one (not sure of the model) are really good too - very little movement, though I usually couple the sports bra with an adidas or nike crop top.

BTW - I'm a 14DD, so not exactly tiny
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...

Yep Berlei are excellent. So are the ones with the racing back.

Liz if I am going running I too sometimes wear a bra with a crop bra over the top or else a tight tank that has a balconette thingy in it. Although I did pick up a tight racing back sports bra from target that seems to keep everything front and centre with little jiggle factor. :D
