Hey everyone!

If you're not sure how many kms your regular route is, you can check at http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/

The site is really great, you just click and drag the map to move it around to australia (unless you wanna check distances in america), then zoom in using the buttons on the left of the map until you get to around your streets. Then you can hit "start recording" on the left, and double click to mark your starting point. double click again at any "bends" in the road, and it will measure the route for you! you can go around and make a whole route, and print the map, or you can go a certain distance then tell it to come back. you can make it do miles or km.

I think its really useful. :) good luck!

you gotta go over to the far left and click where it says "start recording"

then on the map, click and drag to move the map around

and double click to make a marker

don't worry ally, it took me about 15 minutes to work it out too! but its a really cool site, because you will be able to vary your walk and still keep approximately the same kms and stuff!

heh, and after i spent ages working out how to use the damn thing, i discover the instructions.. they are at the bottom left of the screen (in the left hand frame bit) and it says "usage instructions" try that! its really useful!

they could make it a bit more prominent so you can find it though!
