I don't skate anymore Talia - I used to rollerskate as a teenager (a long time ago), that was when Olivia Newton John made it popular. The skates you are getting are very nice, is he buying the helmet below it, or do you get a flash one to go with the new skates.

It was just white and round - a bit like a bowling ball for your head. He could at least get you one with sparkly racing stripes or something.

*Sings loud*- A place where nobody dared to go
The love that we came to know they call it Xanadu
And now, open your eyes and see What we have made is real We are in Xanadu
A million lights are dancingAnd there you are, a shooting star
An everlasting world and you're here with me Eternally
Xanadu Xanadu now we are here In Xanadu
Xanadu Xanadu now we are here In Xanadu

i used to skate growing up but when we moved we moved to a place where the roads were rough and unsealed so i gave it up- great work out though!

LOL @ Kate... You're as bad as me!

I love skating, but don't do it anymore... might get me some blades and head down to the local park... Who am I kidding? I'd fall flat on my face and break a leg or something! But I do like the idea of getting back into these activities that we used to love as kids - maybe it's time to take Dane down to the local skating rink.
