Wrist/ankle weights.

Postby Matt » Sat Apr 21, 2007 5:14 am

I do alot of fast walking and been interested on thoughts from other people who own a set of wrist or ankle weights....

If they are worth getting, to help with lossing weight and toning the body.. I can understand with the ankles but not really see how it helps with the wrist..

Hope this helps

Hi Matt. I used to have a set of wrist and ankle weights, and they are great for when you are walking (I do a lot of it) and really make a difference to toning. I am thinking about getting some more - throwing hints out for Mothers day at the moment.

I've been thinking about getting some to Matt, I think anything that helps tone is a good idea. After all your going to go for the walk regardless, may as well get the most benefits from it I reckon.

anyone know of good bargains on where to buy them :?:

That does sound good Matt I bet you can really feel a difference too. 1.5kg doesn't sound like much but when constantly moving it would be. I do a part of a cardio workout that incorporates weights and I only use a 500g weight in each hand, boy it kills though.

ROFLMAO Matt!!! hahahahaaha, can just picture it!!

On a serious note if you find your legs are feeling a bit stiff have a salt bath just before you go to bed and you won't have sore muscles in the morning, just make sure you do it literally as you are going to bed as it makes you really weak!!
