lol its nearly the end of winter and you are saying its getting too cold to go outside? lol. god bless ya :)

i used the walk away the pounds ones, and my 10 minute solutions. 10 min solutions has 5 different workouts that go for 10 mins each:
ballet
pilates
boot camp
kick boxing
yoga

i am really enjoying it and i brought it from ebay.

i ahve heard that the biggest loser workouts are really good too.

i have the watp 2 mile which i really enjoy - it's a good one for first thing in the morning to get you started & it's only 30 mins so good if you don't have long. i have the 3 mile as well but still haven't tried it.

i did the jillian michaels biggest winner cardio kickbox last week & that's awesome. feels like a good workout. it's only 30 mins as well but you feel pumped :)

i'm looking for some more myself now! it's so efficient to be able to chuck on a dvd before i go to work in the mornings

August is the coldest month in Tassie apparantly! It doesnt really get warm here until October.

Thanks for the suggestions, I like these 10 minute ones - i get impatient and bored so they sound good!

I think I might check out the Biggest Loser one today. Do you need much space to do it? I have a dvd player in my room and lounge room - not very big rooms haha. Do I need a mat aswell?

Thanks! :)

hey ella, nah don't need much room at all - in this one you need space to be able to do star jumps/jumping jacks, kick out to the side & be able to kick out in front and behind you. you don't do much 'travelling'!

i didn't use a mat - the room i was in is carpeted - i'd say you'd be fine unless you have a hard surface like floorboards. :)

ah forgot you were in tassie ella, thats basically the south pole as far as i am concerned! lol. the biggest loser workouts are different to the jillian michaels one that sassi is talking about. the biggest loser ones have the previous contestants from the american biggest loser and bob harper is the trainer in them.

Ohhhhhh ok I see.

I can always clear some space in my room. The only thing is getting motivated to do it. Once I am at the gym I work out - cause im there. Its harder at home.

Thanks everyone!

this thread inspired me to go off browsing for exercise dvds (it's my newest addiction). i had a look on ebay but then i also found another website where some dvds were actually cheaper than on ebay. it was http://www.homefitnessdelivered.com.au/

tried some of my new aussie fit 'fighting fit' dvd this morning. i'm sooooo unco

it's quite a good workout - i didn't have time to do the full thing (goes for about 45 mins), but it has a quick 'how to' guide on basic punches & kicks at the start.

they go really fast though, so i think it'll take me a few times of doing it before i get the hang of the routines (that might just be me though!!).

it's a bit cheesy and apart from the intstructor there are two other people - they're very ken & barbie like!

but the main thing is that it'll burn calories & get me fitter!

i got a Censored one as well - which is non-aerobic toning, 2 workouts - 1 for upper body & 1 for lower body

i wanna know why you never see workout dvds with obese people doing them? at least id feel a bit more comfortable about it because i know theyre trying as hard as i am

The biggest loser dvd's and some of the walk away the pounds dvd's have overweight people.

I do enjoy these 2 dvd's.
