What's wrong with me???

Postby Hayley » Fri Jun 24, 2005 7:45 pm

What's worng with me? Last time I wrote, I was going to use my newly purchased treadmill - and I didn't get around to doing that! In fact, I haven't done any exercise for about 4 weeks. I set my alarm for 5:30am, but turn it off to sleep a little longer 'cause I don't want to get up. In the afternoons, I either feel too tired or feel run off my feet doing marking/lesson plans (I'm a yr 6/7 teacher), cooking tea or entertaining my 23 month old son.

I feel really down about how lazy I am. WA school holidays start in a week and I'm hoping I'll be more motivated to exercise then. I'm sick of being fat! Any advice?

I think its just about getting in a routine and sticking to it. Set aside a specific time each day for your exercise and try to stick to it no matter what (even if it does mean getting up at 5:30am and missing out on a bit of sleep - maybe try to go to bed half an hour early or something?)

You are very right Emma once you have started it will be as much a part of your day as having a shower
Good advice there
