My husband is worred about me *awww*

I have been doing high intensity interval training (5km/h for 90secs and then 10km/h for 30secs for 20mins) each night, aswell as 3x 30 crunches, 2x 10 pushups, 2x 10 dips, 2x 10 weights per arm.

He is worried that i am doing too much, or that doing two diff types of exercise in one night is bad.

Should i be alternating nights? tready one night, other stuff another night? I dont feel i am pushing myself, but is all that kinda stuff bad for my body? like for 1 nights worth?

I appreciate your help :)

I wouldnt think so! Your workout sounds perfect. But awwww for him being worried, thats so cute.

Although it wouldnt hurt to mix it up, so your body doesnt get used to it.

And make sure you have a day off at least one day a week so your body can recover,

That sounds fine to me. I have heard the cardio should be done before the strenth exercises, but other than that, if you feel fine, it's all good. Tell him I do 2 hrs of cycling per day

Sounds great to me :D Maybe, like has already been said, try and mix it up a little for variety...

I spend 1.5-2 hrs in the gym every day, plus walk for half an hour at lunchtimes when I'm at work (4 or 5 times a week) and sometimes do an extra 15 to half hour at night time as well! I definitely do too much!!

Wow!! Well done, I don't reckon it's not bad at all. I use to do an hour of weights (3 sets of 10 reps for each muscle group) and run between 5 - 10km a day (back when I was mooching off my parents who decided they didn't want their gym membership anymore and transferred it to me while paying out of their bank account. All, those were the days) and I felt fine. Problem was, I would spend 3.5 hours all up (walking the 2.4km to the gym, doing the work outs and walking back) which meant that when I got home, I ate EVERYTHING in the house and I actually put on weight

So moral of the story is, don't work too hard otherwise you'll get really really really hungry and eat yourself mad.

hey, I just remembered reading on here somewhere else that strength should be done first I think. Now I'm all confuzzled and don't know which is which. :?

Either way, if you are feeling fine, it shouldn't be a problem

Sounds fine to me :D

If your going to do strength training first start with a 5 min warm up cardio to warm the body up them get stuck into strength training. than rotate leg training them arm training because while you work out the arm's the blood in the legs cold so rotate it around when doing weight's.
