Has anyone heard of spinning? It's stationary bike riding, only the bikes are like real bikes, you have a load and you can't see your resistance, you can only feel it. You have an instructor at the front who yells at you and stuff.
It's great, the gym I go to has it and they claim to burn 800 calories per 40 minute ride. That's only if you work hard at it. The last time I did it, I thought I was going to faint, I was pushing so hard and it was at the end of a hard day at uni. I slept really well that night.
I'm going tonight at 6:30. It's been a while. Problem with spinning is that if you don't buy proper padded bike shorts, your crotch will be sore in the morning.
