I dont know if this will help anyone else but I record any exercise I do during the day on a chart that I have stuck to my fridge (it also acts as a reminder that I could maybe be exercising instead of picking in the fridge).

The chart just has 3 columns - Day and Date, Type of Exercise and; How long? How far?

Helps me keep track of how much exercise I am actually doing and where I could improve.
