downsizing sassi

Postby sassi » Wed Dec 12, 2007 3:47 pm

today is a bit of a new beginning for me because i'm starting over with my PT. i went for about 11 months and lost around 12kg & toned up heaps and then i stopped going a year ago and put on more than i originally lost. i've been stuck in the low 90's for ages so it seemed the right time to kickstart things again.

while i enjoy exercising for the sake of exercising, i like to be able to see progress and also to feel like i'm 'achieving'. the PT seems the way to do this and to see progress - things like lifting heavier weights & boxing for longer.

i'm excited and i'm nervous - i hate the thought of being back to where i was when i first started with the trainer but i need to face up to it & move on.

 i'm still alive! it wasn't too bad at all - my ability to do the different weights has definitely diminshed (i knew it had - i'd lost so much muscle tone as well!), but my fitness isn't too bad. i did the hardest level he gets anyone to do on the bike without too much trouble and i did some rowing machine - which was awesome cos he didn't have them last time i was there! and i did some boxing, but just a short amount for my first session back!

he's going to write up a new meal plan & also a plan for what i can do between sessions with what i have at home (bike, punching bag, hand weights).

it was good fun & i felt great afterwards :D
