Swimsuit hassles!

Postby Gal Friday » Thu Jan 03, 2008 7:33 pm

Sooooo I need a new pair of swimmers (for aqua, needs to be a one piece). And I tried some speedos at Sportsmans warehouse, and nope. Apparantly not! Why can clothes in that size fit me, and not swimmers?! The 24 ALMOSt fit, but was not nice.

Myer have larger sizes, but I dotn really need the boob support (the padded bra bit). As I lose weight, what boobs I have will go anyway.

Does anyone have a good recommendation of where to get larger sized swimmers?

Online. There are many online store for bigger people. I once bought an amazing pair of swimmers as i am allways a double D up top but can go small in bottoms when im small. they are kinder to the differently shaped women and men =D

What about target? They seem to have swimmers of all sizes and they're quite nice too.

Go check out the cheaper shops such as Kmart, Best N Less, Target etc as you probably won't be in them for long before you drop a size :D

I am afraid to get online swimmers yoyogirl, in case they dont fit. I thought the Speedos ones would have fit for sure!

I was really disappointed in targets bathers, they had hardly any above size 18. Maybe they all sold out first?

Yeah, no luck for me at target either! they had ONE style in larger sizes, but it was a) a two-piece and b) ugly. Well I didnt like it anway!

Myer has a sale on theirs at the moment, so if they are still on sale on payday I will buy them. Otherwise will keep looking!
