i am pretty much the happiest person in the world!!

last thursday was my birthday, and my boyfriend had already bought me a present that i got earlier (nintendo ds.. best fun ever!). he told me that he had ordered me a little present as well to come on my birthday!...

so, long long story short, australia post stuffed around with the mail, and i havent gotten it yet, but it should arrive on tuesday or maybe wednesday, but yesterday bf told me that it was a polar heart rate monitor!!!

i have wanted one for ages and ages, and had been saving up for one, and he got me one for my birthday!!!

sooooooooooooooooo excited!

oh Helen you have no idea.

my mum & dad live in qld, so they sent my b'day present down express post, mum planned it so it was due to arrive the day before my birthday... it arrived late.. and they charged her $20 for 'express' post.

then with the heart rate monitor, they claimed it had the 'wrong' address, when we rang the sender, he swore it had the right address on it.. i think it may have had something to do with being 3pm on a friday afternoon before a long weekend.

the worst part is, when you ring and speak to them, they treat you like a moron, like your stuff doesnt matter. it really really sucks.

Man govt departments treat you as if you're incompetent, when the incompetence lies on their side :x 3pm on a Friday afternoon would have gone in the too hard basket for sure :x

Hope you get it tomorrow :D

It sucks that you've had to wait for your Polar heart monitor. I've had so many problems with Australia Post recently that I've just given up on expecting them to deliver anything. It really sucks when it comes time to leave feedback on Ebay. I can't bring myself to leave a negative review because I just know it was Australia Post stuffing up and it's not the seller's fault. If only we could leave negative feedback on the Australia Post website instead!

australia post suck!!!

after stuffing us around on friday saying that our parcel had 'the wrong address' it turns up today, with our exact right address on it.

im seriously thinking about sending them a letter or something, but figure it wont achieve much.

but, i do have my polar heart rate monitor now and i FREAKING love it.

was sooo good running tonight!!! love it!!

in other news, back at work :(

i usually LOVE work, but am working in a new team with no friends! all new people. am sad :(

Hopefully you'll make friends in your new team. Then work will be more fun for you.

We recently got a 'final notice' Australia Post parcel pick-up card to tell us it was our last chance to pick up our package from the delivery centre. Still wondering where the 'first' and 'subsequent' notice cards went to. And I won't go into the items that haven't arrived or have been returned to sender claiming the address doesn't exist....

At least you've got your Polar heart rate monitor now! Even with all the stuffing around that's really good news.
