hey girly, so sad to hear about your cat but awesome that it seems to be getting better. As an animal lover myself i know what it's like to see them looking poorly and be upset about it, we had to put my beloved rottie down a couple of years ago and my family still get sad about it today. They definately are a part of the family so hopefully she gets much better really soon.

As for smoking, you can totally quit again :) i'm a non smoker of a month now n its hard but you'll kick the habbit *no holly no! nooooo holly*!

good luck

Thanks every one. back on the wagon again today.. I am up to 86kg.... :( :o  :? NOT HAPPY

i didnt do as much exceirse as planned but at least i am getting back into it i guess... I was starving by lunch time so i had to eat and then their was not much time for a walk at all, so todays exceirse included a 10 min walk, some time on the ab pro king, and some squats. i dont know if that will help me at all but like i said its a start to a excerise program. tommorrows aim is to go to football with my hubby and walk the dog around the park while we are there. plus will go for a short walk at work as well

food wise. i was doing really well until i got home. i ate last nights left over dinner, i didnt plan to eat it all but i did  so i wasnt going to have dinner tonight, but hubb i smaking a chicken salad so i will have a little bit i think
breakfast - 2 pieces of mixed grain toast and a tea
lunch - salad on turkish bread
dinner- beef curry and salad with a little bit of chicken :|

i drank about hmmm 1.5 liters

so not a good day all up i dont think, would have been great if i didnt pig out if i got home

smokes : 3 and threw the packet out

That sounds like an alright workout, I always think doing something is better than doing nothing.

Your food intake didn't look that bad, did you go over much on CK?

hey guys, i just wanted to come on and let you all know something. I think I have decided to leave the forum. i will still check up on your progresses but i will no longer be posting about my progress.. To be honest, there is no point. I just cant do this anymore. The past few years all I have wanted to do is to lose weight and I just can not do it. I dont know why, especially when i want it so so so bad. i am so sick of feeling fat and being embarresses about how i look but thats not enough for me obviously... I have tried weight watchers, calerie king and watching what I eat, and nothing seems to work. I just dont have the will power to be strong...

I wanted to take this time to thank so many people on this forum. you have been so supportive of my journey and my recent times with my sick kitty.. you all have been so lovely and i am sure i will miss you all

Keep up the good work and i am sure you will reach your goals, your all doing such a fanastic job !!!!!

I'm really sorry you've decided to leave, Holly. I understand how disheartening it must be to have tried so many weight loss plans with less success than you would have liked. I hope things work out for you and remember that you are always welcome back here at any time!

Hugs,
Ali

Holly, I hope you'll come back when life settles down a bit - now is probably not the time to be preoccupied by food and weight when there are more important things taking up your time.

Be kind to yourself and take care

Hugs and smiles, Lisa xxx :D

Hey Holly, hope to see you back here when you're ready. I've tried again and again over the past 8 years to lose weight so I know how disheartening it can be.

Hope you still hang around, you're support on the forum is very much appreciated.

Nothing we say will change your mind abut leaving but make sure you remember all the things you have learnt so far on here and hopefully when you are ready you will able to drop to the weight you want. Good luck and i hope your cat is getting better.

Hi Holly.

I hope you change your mind.

We all lose weight at different paces... And in different ways. BUT - what we all have in common is the need for support/motivation at certain times.

Don't give up on yourself.

In regards to weight (particularly) - the problem gets worse with time... Not easier. Giving up is harder than staying on!!!

Best wishes,
Lauren.

P.S. Slow and steady wins the race.
To succeed you need to find something to hold on to, something to motivate you, something to inspire you - Myself (Lauren)

Hi Holly,

Im not sure if you have done this already but i suggest speaking to your doctor about having a glucose and insulin tolerance test.

I lost 15kg with the help of a dietician but then the plateau hit and has stayed for nearly a year.

Anyway the diectican suggested these test and i got a medical answer as to why i have been on such a plateau and have since been refered to a specialist for further help.

Just an idea.... but remember you are not alone.

Take Care!!!
