Time to get back into it!

Postby Kulaia » Thu Apr 10, 2008 8:25 pm

Ok, so I’m not too fussed if anybody actually reads this, I think I needed to write it just to get myself back into the correct headspace.

I was going really well with my weight loss journey up until the end of January 2008. I had a January goal of being less than 100 kg, up until two weeks before my weigh in for this goal I weighed 100.8Kg and was very close to my January goal. I slacked off a lot and didn’t end up meeting the goal, not only didn’t I meet the goal in January; I also didn’t meet it in February or March. As I sit here now I weight close to 106Kg and to be quite honest I am disgusted in myself. I have completely gone off track from healthy eating and I am literally eating everything in sight. Tonight that will change.

When I started my weight loss journey in around September last year I believe I started it with the wrong mindset. I was originally trying to lose weight just to satisfy the people around me and eventually that crashed and burned.

So I have decided from this point on I am going to get up, dust myself off and continue with the healthy eating and exercise I was doing during my last attempt; however this time I am doing it for myself, and myself only. I have set new goals, and I am more determined than ever to reach those goals. No one will stop me this time, not even myself.

Well done!!!

The only way to succeed in weight loss is to want it for yourself.

Congratulations on putting yourself first.

Best wishes,
Lauren.

Yesterday was great, I did the exercise/walking that I had planned to do and I stuck to what I had planned to eat. Today is also going great, all that's left to do today is my exercise. :D

I sure did do my exercise. I feel really, really good. So good infact that I resisted a lot of things yesterday that I would nomally ate without even quetioning it.
For work yesterday I had to go out bush and usually I would grab a sausage roll or pie on my way out, however yeasterday I took a huge bottle of water with me along with a fruit salad and a sandwhich. I was pretty proud of myself lol.
