One of the best bits of advice I've come across is to remember that everyone is different. There are going to be people here who lose weight faster than you, just as there are going to be people who lose weight slower than you. But why are you trying to lose the weight in the first place? To be like others, or to be the best you can be? You don't want to be a second-rate copy of someone else, you want to be a first-rate version of YOU! So rather than compare yourself to others, just look inside and see how great you will feel when you lose the excess weight. And if it takes you five weeks or five years to get there who cares? As long as you get there in the end!
