Shalimars progress.

Postby Shalimar » Tue Jun 24, 2008 9:48 am

I figured I may as well stick this in here as well.
I am almost 6 months in to my 'lifestyle change' and am rather proud of the way it's going.
At the beginning of January I was 175kgs. Last Saturday (21/06/08) I weighed in 132kgs.
My first goal is to be 100kgs. by Christmas. Fingers crossed I'm well on my way.

Out of curiosity, what's your method of attack Shalimar? Do you count calories, are you doing low carb, or are you on a program like Weight Watchers?

Whatever you're doing it certainly seems to be working! Feel free to share your tips with us. I'm sure any advice you have would be very useful!

Hi EvilWombatQueen, I have been counting calories first and foremost and counting fat is a close second (although not so pedantically). Carbs (rightly or wrongly) are something I haven't really given a second thought to. I haven't bothered with any of the meal replacement programs or Jenny Craig, weight watchers or anything like that. It is just my trusty Allan Borusheks calorie counter book and my willpower.

Take care, Sue.

Hi GI, I had hubby take the first ones on the 5th of last month, he then took some a month later but they came out at a different angle and I think he took a closer up shot as well so I haven't bothered with them since. I was thinking of giving it another crack in the next week or so and perhaps putting them on here.

Hi all, I weighed in this morning and I am down another 2.6 Kgs.

Hopefully next week will be equally fruitful but as we are having a Curry night tonight I can't see.
Take care all.
