I did think of taking him but then I would probably need to drag him out of bed earlier add to that it takes everything he has in the morning to get moving, I mean it takes him 1/2 an hour to eat 2 pieces of toast.
He's definitely not at his peak at 7 am  .
Hubby is home tomorrow so at least I can get out early one day this week.

Hi Shalimar

Well done on your continued loss this week. And thank you leaving comments and advice where I've asked for it. I really fell like I have stumbled upon a group of people who know know what they are talking about - because they are proof that I can do it! Thanks very much.

Thats my 18yr old stepbrother. My mum used to make him buy his own bread because he would put toast on butter it and eat it while the next lot was cooking and so on until it was all gone practically.

I remember my brother when he was about 14 or 15, he would walk down to the supermarket and buy a loaf of bread and wait for it........a bottle of Worcestershire sauce and happily munch the lot on his way home :o .

I forgot to add that I started doing weights yesterday just at home and they aren't big ones just little 3 lbers but I am feeling it this morning.
I managed 200 bicep curls (not at once- I spread it out through the day doing 4x50) and about 20 tricep curls.
As I really know nothing about doing weights is there anyone who can shed some light on how many repititions I should be doing a day? I just want to firm up the arms a bit.

Thanks, Sue :D .

hmm. I think 3 sets of say 10-15 reps would be more than adequate. I know thats what I used to do at home. Even 2 sets. You dont want to do too much and you want to give your muscles a break every couple of days, they need to repair to build :) Hope this is helpful. Oh yes and have a look online for some different exercises diversity is VERY important. That way you work all the different muscles.

And EWWWWWW what a combination.

Hi yoyo, I have had a ball today, I paid some bills, grabbed some groceries, bought myself a new pair of shoes at the Target shoe sale- I figured I deserve them after this years effort and for the most exciting event of the day I picked up the Wii I had on layby for Christmas. I have it sitting on the bed and I swear I can hear it calling me. Luckily the Wii fit is still on layby or I would be tempted to set it up  .

I have done my weights today but haven't had time to go for a walk but as the day isn't yet over it may still happen and if it doesn't I'll be out pounding the pavement early tomorrow morning :D .

You need to find something to do while you can't get about. Can someone lend you a DS or PSP so you can do some gaming or something?

Have a great weekend and no doubt I'll see you around in the not too distant future.

Take care, Sue.

Thats great you got to go out. and OOOOOOh new shoes. I was out and about today but I kinda killed my back and head at the end of it all. I actually have my laptop set up so I can use it o my bed. The only problem is the HUGE crack in the screen (it happened for no particular reason overnight while we were alseep about a month after I got it)but its only in one corner so I can still use it. As for gaming you made me laugh. I actually play a game called World of Warcraft. I have for just over a year (the bfs influence), its been my saviour this week as we have just had a major patch (new informations and things) and I have had to change aaaaaalllll my gameplay additions and whanot.

Have a nice weekend sweetness.

I didn't know you are a WOW player, I have never played it myself but I know of it. I like my console games, I love sitting up in bed with my DS and playing Animal crossing  .

Yep, I thought I would treat myself to some new summer shoes and at $15 down from $30 I though why not :) .
