WOOHOOO!! Got new scales today they are WW scales that give body fat and water pergentages. Im very happy and excited. I could help but hop on them >.< 99.2 But thats during ttotm and after most of a day of eating.

I cannot do my Cardio Pilates dvd. Its waaay to advanced and there were somethings that REALLY hurt my neck and shoulder. So I did a 3 mile watp dvd. Im going to do another dvd later tonight it will either be total body or pilates abs havent decided yet.

Im kind of struggling to get through my water each day. Im getting throuhg a 1ltr bottle and 2 or 3 cips of tea or coffee. Ive cut the coffee out today though.
And i made a typo on my sig I havent lost 14cm from my waist in 4 days hehehehe.

Here are my measurements(as of last check in on CK);
Chest: 112
Waist: 100
Hips: 114
Thigh: 66
Fat &water(new);
Body Fat: 39.4
Body Water: 44.3

Yay for the new scales!I need to get new ones, i have to keep weighing myself to get the same number three times.
Do you drink tea? That could help you get more water. What about have a glass of Berocca in the morning, i can't drink water on its own straight away but the berocca in it makes it much easier. Maybe diet cordial - not the best option cos its got sugar in it but its still an option.
Have more soups - they have a lot of water in them, surely that could help.

Hey Yoyo!

Sorry for the late post...I've been MIA the last week or so.

I'm so sorry to hear about your back...thats the pits, especially when you're feeling so motivated! Typical hey!

I'd love some new scales too....I'm using my partners at the moment. They go up and down in .2s where mine are only .5...only trouble is they're about 1.5kg more than mine! Oh well, regardless of what scales we use at least we'll be able to see our consistency!

Oh yeah - happy birthday for the other day! :mrgreen:
SW - 75.9
CW - 68
Happy weight - 68 (I MADE IT!!!)
GW - 65 (for now - and until I conceive!)

I bought a thing that you put between your legs and squeeze. I got it from Priceline, Ive been using that sporadically for a few days now.

Do you find WATP is better for your back and neck? I've had to give up on pilates and yoga because they were making my back worse, not better. I'd love to find some way to get more exercise without prolonging my injury!

Yay for new scales! Don't worry about your first weigh in. After all, a bad weigh in on your first week just means that you're more likely to have a good weigh in next week!

Good luck!

Went to my specialist today. He says that this is so rare that this is the first and probably the last time he will see this in his entire career. He said from what he and his colegues could find 60% of people who had the bone fused had relief. So instead of operating Im going to have anti-inflamatories and anaesthetic ingected around the nerve and if that works on the pain in my shoulder he will operate and fuse the bone.

So basically Im still not working and OMG my neck and shoulder are sooooooo sore today.
One good thing though. I have my first goal. I am going to join TF or Xndo in the next week or so. I want at least 5-10 kgs gone asap so if i do need surgery I wont be at as much risk.

EWQ I have stopped the pilates it was just too hard on my neck. I am doing lightweights as well as muscle toning and Im LOVING wapt.

Feeling really depressed today. I know I havent been eating like a saint but compared to a month ago its a HUGE improvement I was eating at least 1 sometimes to bars of chocolate a day!!!
Now I have to walk to the shops and when I do I havent been buying them at all. Im doing more exercise in fact last month I wasnt doing ANY exercise. In spite of all this My weight has risen to 102 Kgs. This is my heaviest ever weight. Im going to my mums next week and I just dont want to go now. I dont want to be a disspointment she already hates where I live and I think that she will think even worse. I hate being this weight and I dont seem to have the personal strength to change it. Im disappointed in myself.

Could there be other reasons for your weight gain? I always gain weight around TTOTM (the week before and the week during, which effectively renders half the month useless for losing weight). Could that be the reason you've regained weight?

Or could it be that your pain-killers that are affecting your weight? Pain-killers can cause fluid retention which could explain your gain in weight even though your eating has improved and you are getting regular exercise. Steroidal medication can also cause weight gain, and steroid injections are sometimes used for injuries. It might be worth talking to your doctor to find out if any of your medication has side-effects that could be causing you to gain weight.

You have HEAPS of personal strength. As you said yourself, you have changed your eating patterns considerably and you are getting more exercise than you've done before. If that's not personal strength I don't know what is! Plus you're sticking to it through thick and thin regardless of small set-backs. I think you have tonnes of personal strength. We all have bad times when we plateau or regain weight. Just look to the possible reasons why and look upon it as a health issue to be solved, not as a moral barometer of the power of your 'strength'.

Good luck Yoyo. Once you find out what's caused your weight gain I'm sure you'll start losing again in no time at all!

Ok feeling somewhat better today. Thanks EWQ you really struck a chord with the strength thing. I kinda went enough is enough last night and Im making some new goals for the week. I was doing a half donkey job so im cutting my portions and snacks will be fruit or nothing.

This weeks goals;
a] At least 2 litres of water per day.
b] At least one of my exercise prgrams each day.

and a new choice, smaller portions and fewer snacks.

Next week I will be at my ma's so I know I will lose some weight (shes a weightloss machine).

Im on 2 medications atm and one is known to cut appetite unfortunately the other is know to increase it so Im seeing my doc tomorrow and will get some advice.
