Hopefully I can stay motivated this time....... After my TF success I managed to gain all of it back and am really unhappy with myself....
This time my motivation is my fiance.... He has been having chest pains so I took him to the local hospital and they told him he was fine and it was just anxiety. I made him go to see my doctor (as she rocks) and she ran full on blood tests on him and we have found out he has high cholesterol (which is a bit weird as mine is fine and we eat similar meals) and she has also sent him to a cardiologist. He went on Wednesday and he seems to think that it is not his heart but will run a stress test on him in a couple of weeks.
My Doctor has told Dave to change his diet and has put him onto medication for the cholesterol and to start mild exercise until he has full clearance from the cardiologist and give up smoking.
So starting last weekend we have been eating healthy. Changing all foods that are in the house to healthy alternatives. I have dusted off my Annette Sym books and been cooking meals and putting them in the freezer in individual servings so they are ready when we come home from work and we don't have any excuses of "I can't be bothered cooking tea as I am tired". Unfortunately we still have a few packs of peanuts still here but we have been portioning them out so we don't just binge on them.
I have recently started a new job as well so I have gone from casual to full time again and by the end of the week have been feeling a bit trashed as I have to get up at 3.30am every morning to start at 5am. So the frozen meals are a god send. But even though I have not been on the forum I have still been visiting and reading your posts especially Helen's and if she can do it working the hours that she does then so can I working my 40 hours a week.
So my weigh days are Tuesday's and my starting weight was from last Tuesday so I will weigh again this Tuesday.
Look forward to catching up with you all again and hopefully this time I can stick with it. I am not "DIETING" this time I am just watching what I eat (using Calorie King) and trying to do some exercise everyday.
