I did my fitness test review last night with my personal training group..........beep test as well.

O M G.........some of the things doubled!!

74 pushups
82 crunches
37 pull ups
80 lunges

The list goes on and on.

But I do feel pleased that my overall fitness levels have improved so much.

My weight stayed the same and so did my body fat and miscle and water and everything.........which was annoying, but it is TTOTM so I suppose it is better than putting it on.

Mandie, I do a local group personal training session.........she is a woman who used to be 30kg overweight herself so she is very empathetic. There are about 20 of us that train with her.........tuesday nights and then again weds am. Its about food, its about exercise, its about me!

I am amazed at my overall increase in fitness levels........astounded to be honest.

And how good is this? I also use the Think Slim program by Mark Stevens........it is a whole stack of hypnotherapy sessions loaded onto a MP3 player.......and Mark Stevens just sent me the new upgraded version in MP4 format, so I am stoked! So good to listen to to really keep me focused..........

Oh WOW! Those numbers are mad. GOOD ON YOU!!!!!

I barely manage what Im doing now hehe.

So the Think Slim is working for you. I have been considering it for quite some time but Im worried Ill get it and just stop using it (like i do all other things),and thats a LOT of money for me to spend. Keep us updated on it :).

Yeah, it is working for me. Well, at least I think it is......I mean, I think it helps me focus on making the right choices. It just seems to make the whole healthy eating thing easier and not such a mental battle, IYKWIM? This is the first time ever I have successfully lost weight over a long period of time, so I think it may be the missing link for me........

IYKWIM
???? I have to ask, what does this mean?

Half the battle is mental isn't it. It just feels great when we find something that helps out both sides.

IYKWIM
is an abreviation of "If you know what I mean"...........can you tell I spend too much time on this forum and my parenting forum?!

The mental battle is the hardest for me. If we have anything "junk" in the house, I swear to goodness, it "calls me". There is a box of Pizza Shapes in our pantry that my DH bought home from work. I don't really even like them much. But they are salty snacks (my weakness) and I AM NOT EVEN HUNGRY, but they pop into my mind literally every 5 minutes.............arggghhh! (I am going to tell my husband "just eat them already"!!

Well, after a SHOCKING three weeks "off" I am back to personal training this week.

I had one great week of being very calm and discplined about my food choices, but then we had family to stay for a week (too many classes of wine and cheese platters) and then this past week I have given up the fags, so it has been BAD. Lolly city.

I got on the scales this morning, eeek. For the first time in this whole journey I have put weight on, 1.2kg in 3 weeks.

So I am a bit pissed off with myself to be honest, but I am not surprised. Annoyed with myself.

SO I think it is a bloody good thing that I am going back to personal training tonight, to get my focus back, if nothing else.

Off to CK to properly plan next weeks meals now.........

Booger about the gain. It will be off again in no time especially with PT starting again this week.

Ok, well 10 weeks into this terms personal training and I have consistantly lost at least 0.5kg a week. And my muscle % has risen & I have lost a lot of body fat.

But now we are heading for the Christmas break with 6 weeks off. Argggghh!

On the one hand, I know that Christmas is only a few days, so not enough to sabotage.

But I really want to be able to go back in Feb having lost a heap more weight, not just maintained, IYKWIM?

So my plan is, because I know my exercise opportunities will be a lot less, (as I will have all the kids all the time) to re-jig my food plan a bit to compensate.

So for the next 10 days I am doing a strict Kate Morgan plan. (A shake for brekky, a shake for lunch, fruit only as snacks and then a low carb dinner)

Then Christmas.

Then for the first two weeks of Jan, another stict Kate Morgan shakes for 14 days. Then we go away to Sydney for a week. Then another 2 week strict Kate Morgan stint.

So, in theory, by the time I go back to PT, I will have dropped another 6kg, despite not doing as much exercise, and despite Christmas...........

That is my plan..........
