Best of luck with it dragonfly, I don't have a big number in front of me but I do have one behind me so I do know how you feel. My advice (not that you asked for it), just take it 1 kilo at a time and before you know it all those 1 kilos mount up to lots of kilos :) .

Dragonfly... you have to start somewhere and this platform is good. Even writing down your thoughts and feelings can help, and there will be plenty of us out there who would like to be part of your journey. So - take it one day (and as shalimar said, one kilo) at a time... And even if I (or others) have nothing helpful to say, at least getting on here and typing things down means your hands are busy = less likely to be eating!

All the best! - Mel

with my height I dont want to be 60kilos, more 78, but aiming for 87 for now.
how are you going with skin sagginess? and did you do it all with diet alone, or exercise too?

Minimal loose skin, the tops of my thighs have been the worst but even they are not too bad, my belly is a tad flabby but again nothing that bothers me and the tops of my arms could use a bit of toning, apart from that I have escaped pretty much unscathed.

I am only 160 cms. thats why I am aiming for 60 kilos but lately I have been thinking 55 may not be out of the question, I'll see when the time comes.

I have done it purely with diet and exercise, nothing too hard core, more walking than anything and I use the step aerobics on the Wii fit along with the extention step. I also bought a pushbike but the weather hasn't been that great lately so I am waiting for that to clear up before I do more of that.

Hi Dragonfly,

I started with about 85kg to lose, now down to about 40kg to go - it can be a slow process so keep in mind that the changes you are making are for long term benefits, this is for LIFE! The good news is that all those little milestones along the way are really rewarding and help to keep you motivated.
