I'm not following a specific plan. I've done just about every diet known to man, i always get tired of it, and tired of wasting my money! What i am trying to do is eat in a way that is healthy and sustainable, and trying to get myself stronger by exercising.
I try and eat 3 main meals, and 2-3 smaller snackish type meals of fruit, nuts, low fat yogurt, 1 piece of dark chocolate
Eating every 2-3 hours
NO EATING AT NIGHT! lol big change for me, so i will try and not eat about 3-4 hours before bed
I'm drinking 3 litres of water a day, cutting out soft drinks
Limiting alcohol - I don't want to totally cut it out of my life, because i know i won't stick to it in the long term
Switching to wholemeal / multi grain breads, sticking to only eating bread at lunch
I love my potatoes but i'm cutting them out and having sweet potato if i feel like baked vegetables
Cooking with olive oil
Eating some form of protein with all my main meals
I can't do much exercise at this point (really unfit!) - so i'm just progressing in stages
It is working for me so far, i'll tweak it as i go along... depending on results.
