Aliball needs motivation!

Postby aliball » Sun Oct 10, 2010 1:37 pm

I was doing really well and losing weight, keeping on track - then a couple of months ago my gym closed down. Basically I stopped exercising and stopped eating properly, therefore all the weight I lost has all come back again!

I originally started at 106kg, then got down to 98kg. I don't know where I'm at at the moment I'm too scared too weigh in! Luckily my gym has reopened, so starting tomorrow I'm going to start to get back on track.

I'll weigh in either tonight or tomorrow morning, then I'll keep posting my progress along the way, even if it's bad news. I love reading everyones posts, their ups and downs. It really encourages me to keep going because if all of you can do it then I should be able to do it too!

Good luck Aliball! I hate it when the universe finds a way to sabotage our best efforts. Back when I had more time and was running regularly I swear I had some sort of magical power over the weather. Running days ALWAYS seemed to be over 40 degrees, belting down with rain, unexpected thunderstorms, etc. It's a real pain when you have the best intentions and external forces prevent you from achieving your goals!

I'm glad your gym has reopened. Don't be too hard on yourself if the scales are a little unkind this week. I think it's great that you're jumping back into your healthy lifestyle so you should celebrate that!

cheers,
Ali

I've decided to make my weigh in date Friday instead on Monday. I weighed in Friday night and I was 101kg. I have the spinning scales, not digital so I'm guessing I'm 101.something - but I'm not sure what it would be exactly.

maybe cos you think about it too much? when you are continually thinking about it - makes it so much harder!! i recommend giving "the gabriel method" a read - will be at your local library!! :D
