Gosh, it's been forever!!

Last week was a write off. TTOM was due and I had an absolute breakdown. I was supposed to get my hair done at my Mums (my brother is a hairdresser) and the minute I got there I smashed her birthday present (a vase) by accident and burst into tears. I was so horrified at myself I grabbed the kids and walked out and came home to sulk.

All that aside, I only lost a mere 300 grams that day, I should have been relieved before TTOM (which came Valentines day  ).

I had an extremely busy week this week preparing for my 2 kids birthday parties, which were being held together at home yesterday. My son was 8 and my daughter was 10 (their birthdays are 11 days apart) so I had 35 kids here and some parents and I was wrecked. I wore my HRM between 9.30am and about 7pm and I burnt over 3700 calories!! :o

I lost a kilo this morning. So thrilled, I really was. I am so close to the 10kg mark now and getting close to the magical 70's. Time to hit it hard and knock these kilos off.

Thanks Jules for checking in on me.

Well, since I last checked in, I have only lost a kilo but for 2 weeks, I gained weight.

I am not exercising anymore, but trying to stay very active. I get out and mow the lawn, wash the car, vacuum the floors, train with my sons footy team (under 8's) amongst everyday things, so I am trying to slim down before I look at toning up. This being said, I am happy for the small weight losses, because I am doing this healthily.

So, I reached the double digit mark last week hitting exactly 10kg, my next goal is my half way mark (12.5kg) which leaves me 1.9kg to go to achieve this.

Wish me luck!

Since posting this last week, I have been so bitterly ill and off work for over a week (throat infection, strep throat etc). I lost around 2.5kg in the week, pretty much fluid but the doctor wanted me to weigh daily to gage fluid loss and dehydration so I did. Since I have been eating more regularly for the past 2 or so days, I have gained back around 400 grams of the loss, which I am very happy with.

My weigh in this morning represented my half way mark being accomplished. I made it half way to my goal. I feel like I have climbed mount Everest to get here, but here I am and I am starting to like myself again. Starting to like looking at myself and starting the like shopping for clothes (even though it is frustrating being in between sizes).

And lets face it, 12.7kg is not even a lot of weight to lose for some people. For some it is all they have to lose. But for me it has been the most difficult and rewarding thing I've ever done. I guess I am most proud of sticking with it, despite wanting to quit so many times.

Thanks for your support during the past 12.7kg, I'm hoping the next 12.7 goes a lot quicker and easier than the last!

Doesn't matter what it is for others what matters is what it is for you....and you've done it!!!

Halfway!!!

Well done :)
